Brooksby Village is a beautiful 90-acre continuing care retirement community located just 20 minutes from Boston in Peabody, Massachusetts. We’re part of a growing network of communities developed and managed by Erickson Senior Living, a national provider of senior living and health care with campuses in 11 states—and growing.  

We are hiring licensed Emergency Medical Technicians for flex/ per diem positions as Security and Emergency Services Officers.

The SES Officer II serves many key functions within our community which include, but is not limited to; providing emergency medical response, ensuring the overall security of the interior & exterior of the property, carrying out public safety programs, and providing outstanding customer service to residents, staff, and guests.

Our primary need for coverage is 7:00pm - 7:00am
Valid driver's license and EMT certification are required

Compensation:  $24 /hour

What You’ll Do:

  • Maintain a safe, secure environment for residents, staff, and guests
  • Implement security and safety programs/procedures, including regular patrols of the property on foot & vehicle, gatehouse screenings, emergency response, preparedness, and prevention
  • Respond quickly to calls and provide basic emergency medical interventions (SES EMT/EMR Officer)
  • Answer non-emergency calls and support SES team with emergency efforts (SES Utility Officer)
  • Build positive relationships with residents and guests

What You’ll Need to Qualify:

  • Age 18+
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Current CPR and EMR/ EMT certification
  • Safety and security experience preferred, but we will train
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service
  • Valid driver’s license
