Greenspring is a beautiful 58-acre continuing care retirement community located in the heart of Fairfax County in Springfield, Virginia. We’re part of a growing network of communities developed and managed by Erickson Senior Living, a national provider of senior living and health care with campuses in 11 states—and growing. 

We are hiring an Activities Associate for our Intermissions Department who can bring their gift of compassion to our residents and family members who deal with the challenges of dementia.

How you will make an impact:

  • Co-leading social activity-based programming for Intermission participants.
  • Adopting a person-centered approach and an environment that supports the needs of each individual resident.
  • Designing and implementing creative programming.
  • Assisting in program operation by leading activities and transporting residents to and from programs.
  • Engaging in mealtime preparations.
  • Completing daily attendance records.

Compensation: Up to $18.00/hour based on experience

What you will need:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Programming/activity experience is preferred.
  • Patience, flexibility, and the sincere interest and desire to work with residents affected by dementia.
  • Flexibility in work schedule to include evenings/weekends.
