Lantern Hill is a luxurious 20-acre continuing care retirement community located in Union County, New Jersey in the borough of New Providence. We’re part of a growing network of communities developed and managed by Erickson Senior Living, a national provider of senior living and health care with campuses in 11 states—and growing. 

We are hiring an Activities Assistant (Intermissions Associate) who can bring their gift of compassion to our residents and family members who deal with the challenges of dementia.

Schedule: Full Time & Part Time Shifts Available

How you will make an impact:

  • Leading social activity-based programming for Intermission participants.
  • Adopting a person-centered approach and an environment that supports the needs of each individual resident.
  • Designing and implementing creative programming.
  • Assisting in program operation by leading activities and transporting residents to and from programs.
  • Completing daily attendance records.

  • Compensation: Starting at $18.00 per hour with experience.

What you will need:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Programming/activity experience is preferred.
  • Patience, flexibility, and the sincere interest and desire to work with residents affected by dementia.
  • Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions in English is required.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
