Lantern Hill is a luxurious 20-acre continuing care retirement community located in Union County, New Jersey in the borough of New Providence. We’re part of a growing network of communities developed and managed by Erickson Senior Living, a national provider of senior living and health care with campuses in 11 states—and growing. 

We are hiring a Sales Associate who is an integral member of the Sales and Marketing team and is expected to work independently and as a member of a highly interdependent team. This position is responsible for marketing the Erickson lifestyle to prospects and analyzing various business metrics to determine the prospect’s viability and the next best step in the sales and marketing process.

How you will make an impact:        

  • Interact with prospects through a variety of sales activities that include daily phone sales, face-to-face sales meetings, and group sales. 
  • Influence prospects with strategic messages, tactics, talking points, events, etc. 
  • Develop and sustain customer relationships that result in revenue generation. 
  • Conduct extensive follow-up, follow-thru activities, and retention programs. 
  • Conduct phone sales that increase the quality and quantity of appointments attended by prospective residents. 
  • Manage the integrity of our Customer Relationship Management database information and reports.

  • Compensation: Up to $30.00 per hour, plus commission.

What you will need:

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Prior experience may be considered in lieu of education on a case-by-case basis.
  • Previous sales and/or marketing experience preferred.
  • Previous experience working with a long sales cycle (12 – 18 months) is strongly desired.
  • Proven technology skills.
