Erickson Senior Living is thrilled to announce the opening of The Grandview, our newest state-of-the-art high-rise community located in Bethesda, MD, later this year. This unique community will provide a vibrant lifestyle for over 1,200 residents. We are looking for a Resident Experience Coordinator (also known as Move-In Coordinator) to enhance the new resident experience.

The Resident Experience Coordinator will oversee and manage the resident move-in process and will serve as the primary contact for new residents, as well as for residents' Custom Interiors (CI) vendors to facilitate scheduling and coordination of CI work.

This position is part of the opening Resident Services team. As time allows, the Move-In Coordinator will also support the Welcome Home Program and assist with other resident service team duties as needed. Eventually, this role will transition into a Resident Services position as the volume of resident move-ins decreases.

How you will make an impact: 

Move-in Coordination and Management:

  • Manages all activities related to new resident move-ins, including logistics and scheduling activities related to moves.  Works with other community departments to coordinate details of the moving process. Responsible for the smooth transition of a new resident into the community
  • Supports external and internal residents throughout the entire move-in/transfer process.  Independently resolves issues and attends to special needs that may arise.
  • Creates and maintains move in schedule.
  • Serves as point of contact to resident and their vendors for CI work scheduling and coordination.
  • Integrates coordination into Welcome Home process and ensures a successful transition to the Welcome Home rep. 

Resident Services Coordination and Support:

Actively serves in other capacities of the Resident Services team during periods of low move-in activity, including:

  • Serving as Welcome Home Representative, coordinating Welcome Home activities
  • Conducting Pre-Residency assessments of potential residents
  • Establishing relationships with new residents and ensuring their successful integration into the community

  • Compensation: Starting at $25.50 - $28.35/hourly, commensurate with experience

What you will need

  • Experience in Continuing Care Retirement Community preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and implement plans; project management experience preferred.
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Interpersonal and hospitality skills to interface with residents and families, vendors, various departments and senior-level management.
  • Computer skills for documentation purposes, and ability to use a variety of software (database and spreadsheet)
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
