We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead Millstone Restaurant, our flagship fine dining venue. Here, guests savor chef-crafted specialties in an elegant atmosphere, complete with a private dining room for special events and intimate gatherings.
As Executive Chef, you will be instrumental in driving our Signature Dining Programs—featuring from-scratch cooking and chef-inspired creations—while leading and inspiring a high-performing culinary team. Compensation:
- Commensurate with experience up to $80,000.00 per year.
How you will make an impact
- Oversee food purchasing, receiving, storage, preparation, and sanitation, ensuring efficiency, quality, and budget compliance.
- Supervise food production and utility staff; manage core menus, recipes, and BOH systems.
- Enforce kitchen and equipment sanitation procedures; lead monthly internal sanitation audits.
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state food safety regulations (Health Department/HAACP).
- Collaborate with the Unit Manager to resolve food production, preparation, and presentation issues.
- Maintain high standards for food quality and presentation.
- Foster positive resident relationships through regular dining room interactions and meetings.
What you will need
- Minimum of 3 years Executive Chef experience.
- Fine dining experience a plus.
- Knowledge of ala carte and catering trends with focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls and food presentation
- Good knowledge of PC software and POS systems (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point).
