As a Telecom Engineer 2 at Erickson Senior Living based in the Baltimore area, you will help lead the administration and performance of our enterprise-wide voice, video, and collaboration systems. You will be responsible for maintaining high availability, supporting network hardware, and delivering proactive monitoring, analysis, and support across our 22+ communities and corporate operations.

In this role, you will collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure the reliability and scalability of our telecommunications infrastructure. You’ll also contribute to strategy, help standardize procedures, and respond to issues and incidents, all while helping us stay at the forefront of communication technologies.

This position is hybrid, allowing for virtual work with expected onsite days and occasional travel to our communities as needed.

We’re looking for a Telecom Engineer with experience…

  • Supporting and managing voice, video, and collaboration platforms, including Cisco Unified Communications
  • Administering Webex suite of services to include Contact Center and Control Hub
  • Managing analog voice gateways, ATAs, and video conference room equipment
  • Managing SIP trunks, T1 PRIs, analog lines (FXO/FXS), and other telecom network protocols
  • Monitoring and testing telecom network performance and analyzing statistics and logs
  • Prioritizing and resolving telecom incidents and service requests
  • Collaborating with IT networking, server, and application teams
  • Using protocols such as SIP, PSTN, MGCP, and H.323 for VoIP and video
  • Researching and recommending improvements, upgrades, and security solutions

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a telecom or unified communications environment
  • Cisco certifications (such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCVP) strongly preferred
  • Proficiency with Cisco platforms and enterprise telecom systems

Compensation:
$85,00.000 - $105,000.00 annually, plus eligibility for an annual bonus
