Riderwood Village by Erickson Senior LivingJoin our team as an Activities Coordinator (Intermissions Program Coordinator) to plan, develop and manage the overall operation of the Intermissions community-based social activity programs.

- Compensation: $55,000-$64,000 per year, commensurate with experience

How you will make an impact
- Partnering with Resident Life and Health Services to facilitate the effective delivery of service to participants and assessment of program outcomes
- Managing the internal marketing of the Intermissions Program to residents, families, and staff
- Coordinating acceptance of participants into the program and discontinuation of services as needed.
- Facilitating the exchange of information with residents’ families, caregivers, staff, and support systems
- Educating staff and volunteers regarding residents’ abilities, preferences, and program interventions
- Scheduling and documenting in-service programs for staff and volunteers
What you will need
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a geriatric setting required
- Creative & Expressive Arts background (art, dance movement, music, drama, poetry) is preferred
- Experience with the elderly, and demonstrated understanding of the dementia process and its impact on a person’s ability to benefit from social activity-based programming
