As our IT Support Coordinator you will be part of a team that provides technology support to 750+ residents and 180+ staff at our Avery Point Senior Living Community. Every day, you will walk the campus to provide technical support to our residents and employees, handle equipment, perform assigned project work, and collaborate with your teams.
 

To thrive in this job, you must enjoy working directly with a diverse group of people, including residents, staff, and corporate partners to provide comprehensive technical support.  We support many different technologies and systems and will provide you training so you can learn them too. This job is fully onsite with occasional travel required to other Erickson Senior Living locations. 
 

We’re looking for an IT Support Coordinator with experience…..

  • Managing the lifecycle of desktops, laptops and phone systems while applying required security controls
  • Troubleshooting networking issues to various endpoints
  • Handling customer complaints with patience 
  • Training users on how to use technology
  • Taking ownership of issues and driving issues to resolution independently
  • Working in collaboration with team members, customers and vendors
     

Compensation:  Commensurate with experience starting at $27/ hour.

How you will make an impact

  • Provide Tier 2 support for computers, tablets, phones, point of sale systems, printers, network devices, and other technology assets.
  • Assist resident customers through Erickson Resident Computer Services (ERCS), community computer clubs, and resident computer labs.
  • Support information security initiatives by educating customers, identifying and reporting compliance concerns, and mitigating identified risks.
  • Collaborate with project teams on business and IT initiatives.
  • Deploy and manage IT equipment inventory, including tracking, maintenance, sanitization, and disposal.
  • Contribute to the creation, implementation, and documentation of IT Customer Support procedures.
  • Provide IT support for other Erickson-managed properties as needed.
     

What you will need 

  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience; Education will be considered in lieu of experience. 
  • Job related technical certifications such as CompTIA A+ are strongly preferred. Ongoing pursuit of certifications is considered evidence of continuous learning.
  • CompTIA A+ certification required within 6 months of employment
