Join our team as a Credentialing Support Specialist. In this role, you'll provide essential clerical support to the EHMG Medical Staff Services (MSS) team, assisting with credentialing, re-credentialing, provider maintenance, and payer enrollment.
Compensation: $21.50 - $26.50 per hour, commensurate with experience.

How you will make an impact
- Determine provider eligibility, analyze applications for completeness, and assist with initial or re-credentialing in collaboration with the Medical Staff Services team
- Verify and track expiring documents for compliance, obtain and evaluate primary source information, and ensure provider numbers are correctly established and linked
- Review enrollment applications, update CAQH profiles, and participate in weekly team meetings
- Communicate findings to the supervisor and peers, conduct audits of credentialing files, and complete attestations and research as needed
- Manage correspondence with insurance companies, patients, and physicians, perform data entry, and handle administrative tasks such as preparing, routing, and faxing mail
- Assist with special projects, compile data, prepare reports, and conduct online research
What you will need
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Minimum of 1 year if healthcare administrative experience preferred
- Must be willing to learn other application software relating to administrative functions
