Join our award-winning retirement community as our Fitness Manager and lead a dynamic wellness program dedicated to helping residents live healthy, active lives. This is an exciting opportunity to oversee a state-of-the-art fitness center, aquatic center, and a variety of wellness and educational programs designed to support resident well-being.

As the Fitness Manager, you'll lead a team of Fitness Specialists and Lifeguards while managing the daily operations of our Fitness Health Club and Aquatic Center. You'll work closely with residents to develop engaging fitness experiences, promote healthy lifestyles, and create a welcoming environment where wellness thrives.

Compensation: commensurate with previous experience, range is $64,000 to $75,000 annually

How you will make an impact

  • Support residents and employees physical, spiritual, and emotionally by supervising and attending to their fitness needs in a friendly, polite, and professional manner
  • Evaluate, correct and instruct residents on proper exercise techniques
  • Prescribe flexibility, cardiovascular, and strength training exercises.
  • Develops and manages department budget
  • Coordinate and maintain membership information, inventories, purchasing, scheduling, timesheets, safety inspections, and other administrative matters.
  • Maintain records and statistics regarding all residents and employees involved in fitness programs and promotes retention.

What you will need 

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience is required.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
  • Current certification and membership of at least one nationally recognized organization (i.e. ACSM, ACE, IDEA, SFA) are strongly preferred.
