We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Administrative Assistant to support our Pastoral Ministries Team, which provides spiritual care and meaningful programming for residents of diverse faith traditions within our community.

In this highly visible and service-oriented role, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Pastoral Ministries Team while serving as a key resource for volunteers, residents, and visitors. Responsibilities include managing the daily operations of the front office; creating and distributing flyers, advertisements, newsletters, PowerPoint presentations, and worship service bulletins; maintaining department records and files; and supporting financial tracking, recordkeeping, and reporting for multiple faith traditions and ministry programs.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Success in this role requires strong computer proficiency, experience maintaining financial records and spreadsheets, excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, and the ability to work with sensitivity and respect in a diverse, faith-based setting.

This is a full-time , in office role (NO opportunity for remote work)

Compensation: commensurate with experience $23 - $27/ hour

How you will make an impact

  • Administer and maintain calendars for various staff using Microsoft Outlook
  • Manage schedules, meetings, appointments, and coordinate department events
  • Order and maintain supplies, arrange for equipment maintenance for the department, and code invoices to be approved for payment
  • Perform and manage clerical and administrative responsibilities for day-to-day operations and programming of the department
  • Assist with creating and/or updating documents and reports using various software, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Maintain confidentiality of resident and staff information

What you will need

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Minimum of 3 years as a secretary or administrative assistant in a professional office setting
